Today I tried a discreet weathering of some parts to break the colors, especially the white is imo sometimes "too white" ... I for myself are pleased with the result Smile

What I want tor try an learn with Maria is how to let the rope look natural, I mean not the rope itselfs the way it lays it flows ... a very difficult task imo. In 1:72 everything is so small ... btw, it's fun when working on the Sherbourne or Syren, everything feels sooo big Big Grin

Mast and spars woodwork almost done ...

Adding more details. The blocks are 2mm and to do the blackend brass bands with 2 holes for the eyebolt is a pain in the *** .... Tongue

Today I finished (I hope ... hehe ...) the metalwork on the spars.

Macro is cruel sometimes ... Smile

As I am a bit paranoic about glue every brass band is pinned with a micro rivet (or an eyebolt).

Progress is very slow atm. A lot of scale problems and time needed to find appropriate solutions. Doing 1mm rings is one thing handle them and "close" them another ...

Today the parrels were made. I did them with FIMO, burned them and then drilled the holes. Damn small in 1:72 but imo it is macro proofed Smile

Lot of relearning .... work in progress. I use morope here for the shrouds as it is easier to adjust them. As Maria was a "working" ship I will use a mix of rope
