I forgot one step with the deadeyes, a bit of bending :-)

Then some delicate drilling action to get five holes there instead three. (The other side looks bad ... haha)

Rivet as axle:

Next some more preparation and metalwork.

And today some open heart surgery ;-)

Sherbourne were started eight years ago and I can't remember why I did some things I did them. Something that bugged me for a while was how I made the stern.

That is simply wrong for a cutter. Today I had the mood to change this, deconstruction :-)

I used ebony here.

It's not perfect but much better then before I think :-)

Some details and an error fixed at the boom. So there will be some black paint needed ;-)

And I did her Case. As usual in my way :-)

The "promised" black paint for the boom's end ;-)

I started the standing rigging and it is (as usual) a story of 2 steps ahead and one back (better known as failed planing ahead :-))

Doing the eyes for the shrouds I had to do them wider because I allready finished the mast "too much" and it wouldn't have fitted over otherwise.

The serving is done with 0.1mm morope rope.

It took me two nights to accept that I don't like that (to be lazy)... so ... deconstruction ... haha.

And restarting, much better.

Working on the running backstay. I mainly use Master Korabel Blocks and special blocks by Syren.

I did two inboard clamps and a small deconstruction as I decided the tackle is a bit oversized.

How do I connect these tackles with the block. Some pictures to show "my way".

Preparing the end with CA and cutting it with angle.

Forming the eye and glueing with CA.

The result

I like this diameter of the rope more :-)

More on the stays.

Turned the needed 5-hole deadeye. Hearts are by Chucks Syren Company.

The Lanyards and tensions are not final, just for the picture.

For the topgallant stays I had to cut the mast truck, that worked flawlessly :-)

Thanks again for your kind comments David, Maurice, Lazy Saint & the likes. Very much appreciated.

Finished the deadye rigging starting the ratlines.

I am unsure about the distance between the ratlines. Are they fine?

First time ratlines in my life. Not my favorite though. Port side done.

Distance is approx. 15" in 1:64. I did not used a template it's easier for me to do it by eye. I redid it two times but don't know why my eye is fixed on a distance of round about 5.9/6.00 mm ... so 15" ... haha.
