More work on Maria :-)




I added more rigging details according to the photos I have from the Maria in Munich. (Thanks again Dafi!)










To understand some of the rigg better I made some combined images.

More rigging progress :-)
















Today I built the jib ring. In that scale already a little bit a "blind flight" ... I didn't see much while working :-P

Now all sails are attached.

It's always a bit risky these late "operations" but I wanted the missing details here too. It's not exactly how it should but it tells the story I think.














Another detail needs to be scratched.










Oiled and rivets blacked.

Gettin' closer to the finish line. Rigging is done.












Now all the little missing parts needs to be done too :-)

First the position lights. I wanted to fit them as on the orginal with wire around the shrouds.



0.2mm holes and 0.1mm wire later ....

BTW it is very important to have the brown sails! Fishing ewers from Finkenwerder had these while ewers from Blankenese had grey sails!

Drilling a 0.3mm hole in a 0.4 mm Anchor is challenging ..haha
